Dear families,
We have started to use the School News app by Edlio, an activity feed for consuming alerts, news, and events for participating schools. It’s a simple way to view the school’s news feeds and calendars, and also receive push notifications directly from us.
It’s free to download to your iOS or Android phone and quick to set up:
Go to the App Store or Google Play and search for “School News by Edlio” to install.
Open the app and search for the school by typing 164; find PS/MS 164 and tap “Add School.” If you have kids in other Edlio-powered schools, add them to the app too.
Enable push notification by going to the Alerts tab and tapping “Enable Notifications.”
All of the news and events posted to our website are posted here for easy access. You can also add multiple Edlio-powered schools and/or districts to gather all news, events, and alerts in this one app. We’ll send push notifications out to keep you updated on urgent news.

PS/MS 164 will host a Clothing and Toy fundraising Drive on April 28, 2023, at 8 am. We ask Parents and Staff to participate and Donate their gently used items to Support PS/MS 164.

Items to Donate
Clothing (men's, Women's, Children - All Types)
Shoes
Stuffed Animals & Small Plastics Toys (No Puzzles, Board Games, Legos, or Toys with Pieces)
Linens: including Towels, Curtains, & Table Linens (No Blankets and Comforters)
*Donations should be in strong bags or boxes that will not break.

The drop off for these donations will be on April 28, at 8 am on 137th Street and 77th Avenue by the Main Entrance. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
